Christofi Consulting was founded by Penny Christofi, an award-winning governance, compliance and EDI expert with over a decade of experience across the charity and financial services sectors.
With a career grounded in purpose, clarity and integrity, Penny has worked with some of the UK’s most respected organisations, helping boards and senior leaders embed inclusive governance, meet regulatory obligations, and lead with impact.
She brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, with a practice shaped by her belief in ethical leadership, equity, and public service.

Alongside her professional work, Penny has dedicated over 14 years to voluntary leadership, advocacy and campaigning within the cancer space. As a Campaigns Ambassador and Patient Advocate for Cancer Research UK since 2010, she has contributed over 500 volunteer hours per year, advising on children and young people’s cancer, championing youth voice in national policy, and mentoring fellow advocates.
She has delivered keynote speeches, appeared in national media, and helped shape public health campaigns - including the successful push for plain packaging for cigarettes. She also sits on numerous advisory panels focused on cancer care inequalities, and continues to represent the needs of underrepresented communities in healthcare policy and research.
